definition of indigo

So, what you might say, is “Mystic Indigo”? Hmmmmmm …. a combination of the two above-defined words fused into one? Yes and no.  That designation is true from a semantics perspective, yet there is a more personal reason why I combined these two concepts. To explain that I must introduce a most important teacher of mine, the late Nancy Ann Tappe.

I first met Nancy in 1989, the same year I first received a tape of the now world-renowned Esther Hicks being an extension of Source energy (or channeling) called Abraham from my Aunt Marti. I had a reading with Nancy during what I now know was a crossroads in my life. In that reading she explained many things, including proclaiming me a “true mystic” with Indigo consciousness. “If you’d only take ON the blocks of information and NOT go into your mind where you’ll question everything” explained Nancy, “you’re incredibly accurate and claircognizant. You can use any medium or course of spiritual studies to divine. It doesn’t really matter…… just trust and go.”

I understood energetically what she was saying but had no confidence as I hadn’t put any of the ability she spoke of into practice to create trust in the hits I was getting or to know what to do with the information that was coming through. “It’s just there” said Nancy, “don’t analyze: develop it, use it, don’t question, use your passion and have faith” ………. well, I had no frame of reference to put her statements to, I did not know Nancy other than that one reading.

The context, meaning the terms with which I could fully understand and assess came through continued classes, intensive study and communication with Nancy, putting her information to the test as well as occasionally translating for her when she was in Switzerland teaching and lecturing over the course of many years.

Fast forward to 2015. Being a perennial student, I had the extraordinarily good fortune of attracting incredible teachers and schools into my experience – thanks Law of Attraction! While I intensified my work with crystal energies (2nd time around) I was given clear guidance that the time had come to do what I had asked for, my “work for the highest good I can do”.

I was in place where I had the internal space and peace to truly hear and see what my guides showed me. A place. A vision. I re-listened to the soundtrack of the musical “Hair” and threading together the symbols I received:

A place where understanding can happen, healing on many levels, meeting of the minds and hearts, vibration can be raised, where I can be an uplifter.

Mystical, metaphysical, magical information can come to the fore and into the light for those that want to access it.

A space, a learning area where 5th dimensional/Indigo awareness lives and allowing unity is wanted, where like-minded souls can offer their services and products.

Where people, places, circumstances and things can converge and augment/hold light in a particular place on the crystalline grid which is being reactivated now and in the years to come.

And so, the idea of Mystic Indigo in Locarno was born. It is the product of a lifetime of study, practice and dedication to deeply embracing my Gemini soul, which means being the messenger conversationalist at multiple levels.

Conversation is the operative concept here; it literally means the action of turning with another. The word universe has the same root word – vers – which means turning of the One. To me, the most meaningful and courageous conversation is the one we have with eternal being as “Spirits in a material world” to quote The Police in one of the best songs ever.

The glyph for Gemini symbolizes two pillars – sending and receiving – which is the essence of communication.

I have learned that there are always and without exception multiple paths back to Spirit. At Mystic Indigo it is my aim to embrace the multiple (and all) paths that allow us to find our way through this life and meaningfully connect with our Higher Self, Spirit, the Universe, Source, God, the Infinite Magic and guide you in doing the same.

There are many modalities, forms of creativity and schools.
The names aren’t important.
How you experience life and navigate is important.
Whatever works is right and your thing, for the moment or forever.
Nice to meet you and I’m delighted to be here.

Sourcing

Crystals are the flowers of the inner Earth. At Mystic Indigo, we believe it’s important to appreciate the gift we as crystal enthusiasts and humans are being given through the Earth. You can’t appreciate a gift if the way it’s come to you is through abuse: whether in terms of the people that are doing the work in mining, the methods used to mine, or the salaries and health of the families that are behind each and every crystal we take extra special care (using energy sensitivity as the guide) to source.

Why? Because crystal work is energy work. “What goes around, comes around” as the saying goes; the energy of how the crystal was sourced affects everything that is done with the crystal after it leaves its home and finds its way to you. We began this work for many reasons, but importantly our experience with crystals was self-healing and joy.  Our clients can share that experience and obviously have their own journey in which the crystal that chooses them plays a role. We know how powerful crystal energy is as well as understanding why it is vital to respect where it comes from. Taking crystals from the Earth in an unethical way affects the energy of the stone. Mindfulness in all parts of the sourcing journey is key!

  • Know where your crystal is from. Know that it is authentic.
  • Feel the energy. Energy integrity of the crystal is key.
  • Mystic Indigo sources from businesses with an ethical work creed we stand behind.

We only work with smaller, family-owned businesses.  We want each crystal to be vibrating at its highest frequency when it arrives to its new home. This means we need to be able to trace the path from its home in the Earth to its home here. We can’t do that if we are buying in mass quantities at rock-bottom prices. We trust our vendors and it is our aim to earn that trust from you as a client as well.

Photos vs. your product

In an effort to offer maximum transparency and understanding, the client needs to know that colors, size and transparency as well as individual features of each crystal may vary. Screen resolution and computer settings can also alter the depiction of each product which must be taken into account upon purchase. Your product may vary from what is depicted in the product shot, not in the type of crystal but in the intensity of color, banding, vugs and other completely individual natural features of each crystal. What you will receive is a one-of-a-kind.

Align Bracelets

When I make Align Bracelets, they are created individually – you will have your own personal combination of crystals according to your intention. Please note that the photos are examples of Align Bracelets, but your bracelet will be one-of-a-kind and therefore will have its own crystals and decorative combination.
